The B3CF is committed to building, strengthening and sustaining business between Finland the United Kingdom and the rest of The Commonwealth since its establishment in 2008. Our mission is to serve our members as a protective resource, based on the three tenets of "Voice, Information and Profit advantage (VIP)".
Your organisation represents, through the Genesis Initiative based in London, well over 1 million enterprises and an outreach to several million more through the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council throughout our 52 Commonwealth countries.
Our relationship to influential and well-connected resources, such as the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council (CWEIC), Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE) and the Genesis Initiative (GI) help further our boundaries and connections, giving one more piece of leverage for cementing success.
B3CF is the first Finnish full member of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE), since 2008, and play an active part in networking our enterprises Europe wide, especially in the Nordic-Baltic Region. B3CF is the world's only Chamber of Commerce covering business, trade and investment opportunities from and to all 52 Commonwealth countries.
The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 52 nations covering 2.3 billion people on 5 continents. The Head of the Commonwealth is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Labeled by the BBC News World as 'The Club of the 21st Century', the Commonwealth acts as a family, with a common history, and common culture and common vision, striving to lift their people, the economy, health and welfare, and the environment.
34 Commonwealth countries have diplomatic representation to Finland, 7 have full embassies (India, United Kingdom, South Africa, Canada, Malaysia, Namibia and Cyprus). The Commonwealth makes up a quarter of the membership in the United Nations; at the moment has three Members on the UN Security Council (Malaysia, New Zealand, UK); has a strong representation in the Caribbean Community; has three Members in the European Union (Cyprus, Malta, UK); has two Members in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Malaysia, Singapore) and five countries represented in the G20 (Australia, Canada, India, South Africa, UK).
